+ moreI wasn't expecting a one-to-one experience and felt immensely fortunate. I have only had one session so far but I feel very enthusiastic about the lessons ahead of me. I shall take my homework very seriously! This first session was mainly to find out my strategies and skills, drawing/sketching an open box freehand, then drawing it again in a different position with a grid to help me. Again Pat was interested in the strategies I employed and my skills. On the basis of these two drawings and the precious object I took with me, she helped me to decide on an angle that would tell a story about the object. I found that fascinating. I teach so part of my mind was bound to be on the way Pat teaches. She is careful, kind, encouraging and treats me as a real person. She is also clearly focused on the 'journey' that her pupils are going to take, and I have every faith in her. I see myself having an interesting and productive time with Pat over the next seven weeks.
